    Drug and Alcohol Testing

    The Employer has an obligation under the Health and Safety in Employment Act (1992) to provide a safe and healthy working environment and to provide the public with a safe operation. It is the Employer’s policy that any involvement with drugs while on duty or off duty, is considered serious misconduct, which could result in summary dismissal.

    Testing for the presence of drugs and/or alcohol may be conducted:

    • as part of pre-employment screening
    • if there is reasonable cause to suspect an Employee is using illegal/unlawful substances
    • following an accident or incident

    Covid-19 vaccination and testing

    All Tullba staff must have a double dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and a negative COVID-19 test before commencing work.
