Tullba is an innovative Dairy and Beef business focused on Our People, Our Cows and Our Environment, we don't run a typical 2IC structure within our team as we believe this responsibility level can be shared across our people. We split this responsibility into 3 areas Pasture/Feeding, Animal Health and Dairy/Effluent, the goal overtime is that the people move between the different responsibilities to gain in-depth experience and to set them up to be able to take on a managerial role in the future.
The role we are currently looking to fill is the Dairy/Effluent role within our team. The ideal applicant has some mechanical understanding whilst enjoying working with cows.
Key responsibilities of the role are:
You will also be part of the team who looks after the Current Champions (dairy herd) so at least 1 years previous experience on a dairy farm is required. Other activities everyone in the CC team performs are milking, break feeding, weed control, general repairs, and general farm related work.
